Button Objects
My father instilled in me an appreciation of two things very odd things: construction sites and hardware stores. He loved the grandeur of the construction site in full swing, the bull dozers and excavators carving massive holes in the earth almost as much as he loved wandering the aisles of a hardware store looking for just the right tool, widget, or pipe fitting to complete his latest project. I guess his excitement must have sunk in, because to this day, I still break for construction sites, marveling at the prehistoric grace of heavy equipment in action.
