GLOVES
For twenty-five years, I lived in an industrial neighborhood in Berkeley. It was there that I began collecting discarded work gloves. I’d find them run-over in the street, encased in roofing tar, and sometimes missing fingers. It took me two years to accumulate enough gloves to create the piece Bad Boys.
